Tracking video movements

this video is planned to track the movments of the 6 videos i am using for my 4D Project. they map the journies of each person throughout the area, and are mapped by individual colours for each video.

4D – Merged Videos

for the second main focus point for my final piece i plan to show all the videos blended together to show the whole environment and recordings within one video, this will show the relationship between each video a bit more clearly and show the environment within all the videos and also merged with all of the other videos. showing the real time throughout the videos.

4D – Attempt_2

With part one exported and uploaded to my blog, i felt this was a bit uninteresting to viewers, i have now added captions into each video to distinguish each persons video. this will be modified heavily to be inputted into my final peice.

4D – After Effects focus

for part 2 of my project, i aim to focus on all the videos merged as one to show the relationship between all of them. this has been the biggest struggle as i am very new to after effects, but i plan to use all the video within one instance and use a 3D camera to zoom through the videos and pan around the area of where the videos are playing.

Here are a range of screen shots after i had exported the videos. these are showing all the videos played in one large video showing the relationship between all the videos. showing the happenings and reactions but also the environment and human behavior in each video.

4D – Work & Development

for my main presentation i will be creating my project using Adobe Premiere and After effects, but also using Adobe flash to create the tracking and movement of each person.
here are a few of the screen shots i took while using these programs and developing my final piece.

using adobe premiere i imported my videos to create into one large video so i could play and see what they played like altogether.

each video is around 4.30 minutes long and are all synced so all are very accurate to each other.

from importing all the videos, i dragged them all onto the same stage to create on large video.

after exporting i felt that the was no siginifcant distinction between each individual video so i exported them again with titles on so i could distingush between each video.

this idea is a side part to the main idea and will be an important part to my final presentation

4D – Tracking

to track my videos i firstly had to watch each individual video to mark out where each video went within the area of filming, this took a bit of time but once i have these drawn out i could easily track my videos with the help of after effects and premiere.

these images below show each of my 6 videos tracking positions over the 5 minute video piece.

these drawings helped me to develop my tracking of the videos for my final piece.
